Everything you need to know

How soon does my cashback appear on my statement?

In most cases, your cashback will appear as "Pending" on your statement within 14 days.

We aim to report on and award cashback as quickly as possible, however the time between you participating in a promotion and being awarded cashback can vary between promotions. This is due to the varying time it takes our partners and advertisers to provide tracking information and to confirm and make payments. Also, note that certain retailers will only report your transaction to us once the goods are despatched whilst others will only make payment once their moneyback or returns period has expired.

As a general rule, if no cashback has appeared as "Pending" on your account 14 days after you believe you qualified for them it may be worth submitting a claim. Note that you must submit a claim within six weeks of the date you completed the transaction. We will have to refuse any claims for transactions older than six weeks, as the merchant will not investigate them beyond that timescale.

We receive regular transaction reports from our partners and use these to update your cashback statement. Some transactions appear within minutes and most do within 48 hours, but don't worry if yours doesn't for a week or so; some partners are slower to report than others and the motto is always "Allow at least 14 days"

Transactions are initially reported with a status of "Pending" to allow the merchant time to validate the transaction and send payment to us. This validation period is usual 8-12 weeks but can be longer for certain merchants. The typical award period is shown on our site underneath the description of the cashback offer for a given merchant when you click through. This is used to calculate an estimated award date for your transaction, which is shown on the right hand side of your statement

If, by the time the estimated award date has been reached, the merchant has validated your transaction and sent payment to us, the status on your statement will change to Awarded. If the merchant has declined the transaction, it will change to Rejected. Otherwise, it will change to Extended and we will continue to chase the merchant on a regular basis for updates.
